Today I have made tasty kerla onam sadya Special Beetroot pachdi recipe. It's a side dish made by simply tempering the beetroot with tasty ingredients.

Heat a pan add grated beetroot, salt, and little water mix it well, cover it, and cook on a slow flame for 10-12 minutes.

Meanwhile, put the coconut in the grinder jar add green chilies, cumin seeds, and little water and grind to a fine paste.

Once the beetroot is cooked then switch off the flame and allow the beetroot to cool slightly then add ground coconut paste and curd and mix it well combined.

Heat coconut oil in a tadka pan add mustard seeds and let them splutter now add curry leaves, and red chili and saute a few seconds then pour this into the beetroot mixture and mix it. Beetroot pachadi is ready.

Serve it as a side dish for lunch and dinner.
