Vellarikka Pachadi (Madras Cucumber Raita)

Pachadi is simple yet easy to prepare, delicious and nutritious curd raita from Kerala cuisine.
.Known as Vellarikka Pachadi prepared with South Indian cucumber, coconut spicy paste and tempering of coconut oil, mustard seeds.
Steps

Peel and chopped south indian cucumber into thin slices.

Cook cucumber slices with salt and water.
- 3
Grind coconut, green chilli, ginger, onion shallots and cumin seeds in mixer jar to make paste.

Add this spicy coconut paste in cooked cucumber slices. Mix well. Add curd, mix and cook for 2 minutes.

In tadka pan, heat coconut oil. Add mustard seeds as splutter add curry leaves. Off the flame. Pour this tadka on prepared cucumber coconut mixture. Mix well.
