Soak the rice, then chop the vegetables of your choice—here, green beans and carrot. Drain the rice well.

Heat a pot over medium heat. Once hot, add the oil and let it heat up. Add the well-drained rice (to avoid splattering) and stir occasionally. Listen for a change in sound; when the rice is golden and changes color, it's ready for the next step.

Add the vegetables. Blend the water, salt, garlic, onion, and chicken bouillon powder together, then pour this mixture over the rice. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and cook for 20 minutes. After cooking, uncover the rice and turn off the heat. You'll be amazed at the result—it's ready to eat!
