Lauki thepla is a gujarati dish made from flour, lauki and spices. Very delicious and nutritious goes well with achar and curd and should be serve as breakfast, brunch or dinner.

In a mixing thali take wheat flour on one side. Add oil and mix it. The other side takes grated lauki. Add salt, turmeric powder, crushed garlic, red chili powder, sugar, and chopped coriander leaves into grated lauki and mix well with a hand. (Doing this process lauki leaves to water and the dough is kneaded nicely).

Now combine all ingredients well and knead a little soft dough. (If required add 1-2 tablespoon water).

Prepare equal size balls from it. Coat with flour and roll out. Cook both sides with oil on tawa until golden spots appear.

Delicious lauki thepla is ready. Serve with achar or curd with a cup of tea or coffee.
