Note:- chickpeas are the lighter version of chole those are a bit bigger in size but with spices & gravy both looks equally delicious with Punjabi spice mix .

Firstly wash & drain the chickpeas set aside further take a pan to add ghee tempering with cumin seeds, black seeds for a few seconds then add the onion paste & fry for 1 minute then add tomato paste mix both of them well then add all spices together with 1 cup water mix everything nicely & cover it to cook for 5 minutes

Further, uncover the Lid and add Kasuri methi, coriander leaves, and lemon juice let it cook until the water is soaked in & chickpeas are softened enough. off the flame burner pop it in a serving bowl add a few kalonji seeds and it’s ready to Serve it with hot fried puris /bhature.
