Caramelised pan fried halloumi bagel

I brought halloumi cheese with me from a local farm in Lebanon which tastes very different from the store brought ones here in the UK.
It’s fresh, organic, soft and super tasty!
I saw this recipe on social media and decided to give it a try with my own twist!

Steps
- 1
Halloumi in Lebanon always has this sign of a sheep on it. Cut into slices
- 2
Mix the dressing ingredients into a bowl
- 3
- 4
Add the halloumi slices into the dressing. Combine.
- 5
Toast the bagel slices in a toaster
- 6
Place the halloumi slices with the dressing in a non-sticky pan and cook over medium to high heat for ~2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown
- 7
Move the cheese aside. Bring the bagel slices with cut side down and cook for a few seconds each until they absorb all the remaining of the dressing from the pan
- 8
Now add the green leaves topped with the halloumi between the two slices of the bagel, sit on the sofa with a warm cup of tea and enjoy!
