Ensure fermentation of batter. After fermentation add salt and mix well.

Mix all the chopped ingredients.

Clean and heat the skillet with little oil/ghee. Spread a ladle full batter and then add the chopped onion, tomatoes, ginger, curry leaves mixture.

Cook both the sides of Uttapam. Serve with chutney or tomato sauce.
