Chicken and Fig Salad with Roasted Feta and Figs

Today I'm sharing a light yet indulgent recipe featuring figs! It's a fruit I don't usually eat, so I decided to give it a try. I added cucumber for crunch and freshness in the salad, but you can swap it out for any ingredient you like.

Today I'm sharing a light yet indulgent recipe featuring figs! It's a fruit I don't usually eat, so I decided to give it a try. I added cucumber for crunch and freshness in the salad, but you can swap it out for any ingredient you like.

Place the block of feta cheese in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, then arrange 5-6 halved figs around it. Bake for about 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C).

Slice the chicken cutlets into strips, cook them in a skillet until golden, then drizzle with honey, sprinkle with sesame seeds and a little paprika, and season with salt and pepper.

Combine the mâche, chicken, diced cucumber, the remaining fresh figs quartered, and add the vinaigrette.

Serve the salad with toasted bread. You can spread a little fig jam on the toast if you have it, and of course, add the roasted feta with figs. Enjoy!
