Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take butter and powdered sugar.

Beat the sugar and butter well with the help of a hand mixer or whisker.

Add wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Additionally, add cardamom powder or vanilla extract. Mix and crumbles the ingredients well with your hand.

Add milk and start to combine well. Do not knead, just combine to form a dough. It has a crumbly texture.

Now flatten and roll out slightly thick with the help of a rolling pin.

Seal the edges with your hand if cracks form at the sides.

Now with the help of a cookie cutter cut into any desired shape or also make any design on top of cookies.

Place the cookie onto a tray lined with baking paper.

Bake the biscuits in preheated oven at 160-degree celsius for 15 minutes or till the edges turn slightly golden.

Allow the biscuits to cool completely. Biscuits will be soft when hot and turn crunchy when cooled.

Finally, a wheat biscuit is ready to serve with chai or stored in an airtight container for at least 2 weeks.
