Steps

Finely chop onion and keep aside.

Cut idli into pieces. (Left over Idlies are best for this)

Heat 1tbsp of oil in kadai, add mustard seeds, when it splutter add urad dal fry for few seconds, then add chopped onion, red chilli pieces and curry leaves, fry till nice aroma comes then add molgai podi and 1-2 tsp of ghee, mix it, then add idli pieces, mix nicely.

Be careful while adding salt because podi has salt in it.

Serve hot with chutney 😋😋
