Steps
- 1
Prep your available proteins
- 2
Season and boil beef, offals, pọnmọ etc
- 3
Prep your locust beans. You can rinse off excess salt. If using dry one, soak for few minutes and then wash off excess salt
- 4
Roughly blend onions.
Heat palm oil and sauté your onions. - 5
Roughly blend available pepper, I used sweet pepper (Orange and yellow), & Cameroon Pepper and add to pot on medium heat. Allow to fry so as to dry up.
- 6
After sauce is properly fried, add meat stock and cooked offals (medium or bite size)
- 7
Blend your okra, add water just enough to keep the blades moving and the okra to draw
- 8
When stew is properly cooked and combined, add okra. Stir and leave on medium heat for maximum of 5 minutes. Okra is ready, forgot to take further pictures 🤷🏿♀️
- 9
Like other vegetables, Okra should be cooked with medium heat for a short period so as to get maximum nutrition and taste.
If you prefer it crunchy, slice your okra instead with a food processor.
To get a little bit of both, slice some of the okra and blend the rest.
