St. Louis ribs are cut from the lower half of the rib section and trimmed into a rectangular shape.
I wrapped it with parchment paper and aluminum foil, that will keep the ribs tender and juicy.
I baked it wrapped at 350° F. for 1 hour and 45 minutes, then spread the B.B.Q. sauce on the ribs and cook for 30 more minutes. These are great baked ribs.

Ingredients

  1. seasoning ingredients for the ribs
  2. 3 lb.St. Louis cut pork spareribs
  3. 2 tablespoonsmolasses
  4. 2 tablespoonsDijon Mustard
  5. 1 teaspoongarlic powder
  6. 1 teaspoononion powder
  7. 1/2 tablespoonsmoked sweet paprika
  8. 1/2 tablespoonsweet paprika
  9. 1 teaspoonground coriander
  10. 1 teaspoondry oregano leaves
  11. 2 teaspoonssea salt
  12. B.B.Q. SAUCE INGREDIENTS
  13. 1 cupketchup
  14. 1 tablespoonhoney bee
  15. 1/4 teaspooncayenne pepper
  16. 1/4 tablespoonsmoked paprika
  17. 1 teaspoononion powder
  18. 1 teaspoongarlic powder
  19. 1and 3/4 teaspoons salt
  20. 1 teaspoonground cumin
  21. 2 tablespoonslight or dark brown sugar
  22. 1/4 teaspoonground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Pad dry the pork ribs with paper towel. With a small knife, at the end of the ribs lift the membrane attached to the back of the bones. With the help of a paper tower grab and pull off the membrane.

    In a bowl mix the molasses with the mustard. With a brush apply it on both sides of the ribs.
    In another bowl mix the rest of the seasoning ingredients and season the ribs on both sides.

    Place a sheet of parchment paper on top of aluminum sheet and wrap the ribs.

    Preheat the oven at 350° F.
    Cook the ribs for about 1 hour and 45 minutes.

    In a bowl mix the ingredients together to make the B.B.Q. sauce.

    After the ribs are cooked, remove from the parchment paper and apply the B.B.Q. sauce on both sides of the ribs. Finish baking the ribs for another 20 minutes to 1/2 hour.

    Cut it in portions and serve.
