Sweet Potato -Methi Sabzi

Chopped fenugreek leaves and rinse in water.

Peel and chopped sweet potato. Keep it in water container. Chopped tomato and keep aside.

In cooking pan add heat oil. Do tempering of, mustard seeds,cumin seeds as splutter add asafoetida and tumeric powder. Add tomato pieces and saute for till soften.

Add red chilli powder dhania jeera powder, sugar and salt. Mix well.

Add chopped fenugreek leaves and sweet potato pieces (discard soaked water). Add little water. Mix well. Cover with lid filled with water, stirring in between, cook till sweet potato pieces are tender.

Transfer it in serving bowl. Serve Relish Delicious Hot Sweet Potato -Methi Sabzi with dal roti in meals.
