Banana Fritters

Ingredients

  1. 3-4bananas, chunks
  2. 4 tbspall purpose flour
  3. 3 tbspcornstarch
  4. 1.5 tspsugar
  5. Water
  6. 1 tbspmilk
  7. 1 tbspoil
  8. 1-2 dropsvanilla extract
  9. Honey (optional)
  10. Oil for frying

    Prepare oil for frying.

    In a bowl whisk flour, cornstarch, and sugar together. Add milk and enough water to make a thick batter consistency. Stir in oil and vanilla extract.

    Dip the banana pieces into the batter and ensure banana is covered thoroughly.

    Once the oil is hot, place banana pieces into the oil and fry for a few minutes. Rotate frequently to ensure both sides are golden brown. Remove fritters from oil and place on cooling rack. Drizzle fritters with honey.
