Cooking Instructions
- 1
Smash the bananas in a bowl and add the flour, baking powder, nutmeg and sugar. Mix everything and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes.
- 2
Heat up the oil in frying pan and when it's hot (but not too much) you can lower the flame a little bit and star adding your mixture little by little and you'll see that the little balls will create on their own.
- 3
When I'm finished I like to add a little bit of sugar on the top.

Banana Fritters Banana Fritters
You have to use "Plantain Bananas" to get the best result. I have never tried this recipe with any other bananas. So I don't know about it. Use ripe bananas. I've seen people adding sugar to the batter along with crushed cardamom. I like it better this way. Added a pinch of turmeric for the colour 😁 Pen Friend -

Jamaican Banana Fritters Jamaican Banana Fritters
I LOVE these dense little fritters. I have many Jamaican friends/family that make different variations of these (some add rum, some add coconut) they're awesome for those overripe bananas and something different than the usual banana bread. Enjoy! ! 😉 😊 Kels Ro -
Ripe Banana fritters Ripe Banana fritters
#5ingThese ripe banana fritters are very easy to make and can be prepared with easily available ingredients at home. When your sweet tooth are craving and monsoon is there and you want to eat something easily prepared sweet dish then this is the best option. This is the more preferred sweet dish in the rainy weather when you feel more lazy and your family wants something hot but sweet dish. This is also very delicious in taste. Bobly Rath -
