Moong Palak Dal

Winter is all about fresh leafy greens and Spinach is one amongst all winter leafy vegetable.
Presenting a winter treat which is a nutritious Dal loaded with Spinach where Spinach is combined with Moong Dal.
It is a light Dal as it is made up with just basic seasoning and an excellent nutrition provider.

Roughly chop Palak

Boil Moong Daal (pressure cook) and keep aside
- 3
In moderately heated pan / kadhai add oil, allow to heat, add bay leaf + red chilli + cumin seeds and allow to crackle, then add boiled dal along with water, add spinach also + salt + green chilli + turmeric powder and stir well.

Give nice rolling boil and cook for 2-3 minutes under high flame.

Palak release water so Cook further for 5-6 minutes under medium flame.

Simmer and cook for around 2 minutes and dish is ready. Lastly add ghee and stir well.

Serve with hot plain rice and enjoy the nutritious dish.
