Millets are very healthy. Here I have prepared sweet halwa (means kesari) of bhagar/sama rice or barnyard millet. I added pineapple to give it amazing flavour.

Millets are very healthy. Here I have prepared sweet halwa (means kesari) of bhagar/sama rice or barnyard millet. I added pineapple to give it amazing flavour.
Steps

First prepare pineapple syrup - for this boil 1cup of water, add jaggery and chopped pineapple

Boil for 5min so that pineapple flavour should get released in water

Meanwhile take a pan or kadhai

Add bhagar(millet) also add ghee
- 5
Saute for 5min on medium flame

Now add boiling pineapple syrup

Mix well, cover and cook for 10min on low flame

Now open the lid, all water is absorbed and pineapple kesari is ready

Fry cashews in ghee and use for garnishing
- 10
This can be the best offering (prasad) to God.
