Ingredients

Prep 20 min, Cook 10 min
2 servings
  • 1Chicken breasts (Average size, approx. 200 g or 7 oz) -Skin remove, Cubed
  • 1Medium Onion -Small chopped
  • 4Medium Mushroom -Small chopped
  • 1 cloveGarlic -Finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml)Vegetable oil
  • For Marinading
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml)Plain yogourt
  • 1 tsp (5 ml)Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tspGround black pepper
  • For Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp (15 g)Tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml)White wine
  • 1/2 tbspCurry powder
  • 1/2 tspGaram Masala
  • 1/2 tspCoconut sugar or Demerara (Brown) Sugar

Steps

Prep 20 min, Cook 10 min
  1. 1

    Chop or Cube Chicken* into bite-size. For easy cutting, use partially frozen chicken. *See tip: https://cookpad.wasmer.app/us/tips/44438

    Partially Freeze Meat for Easier Cutting & Slicing

    In a small mixing bowl, rub all marinading ingredients into the chicken and marinade 10 min at room temperature.

    While the chicken is marinading, chop Onion, Mushrooms and Garlic.

    Heat a fry pan to Med-High temperature and add Vegetable oil.

    Fry vegetables from step 3 until onion turns transparent.

    Add marinaded chicken from step 2 and stir-fry until the meat is cooked.

    Add all seasonings at once and stir-fry until well coated.

    Transfer to a plate or bowl. Great paring with rice or flat bread. Also makes a great appy, sandwich filling or pizza topping!

Tips

Partially Freeze Meat for Easier Cutting & Slicing

This method works very well for thin slices, strips, chopping and cubing any meat as well as remove excess fat and skin for preparation.
