I love sandwiches, and when there's leftover turkey from Thanksgiving or Christmas, it becomes my favorite sandwich.

I love sandwiches, and when there's leftover turkey from Thanksgiving or Christmas, it becomes my favorite sandwich.

Place the onion in a saucepan with the olive oil and caramelize. Slice the onion and cook over medium heat with a pinch of salt for about 8 minutes until caramelized. Remove and let cool.

Assemble the sandwich: Melt the butter until it turns brown, then dip the edges of the bread slices in it. Spread mashed avocado on one slice of bread, then layer with lettuce, tomato, turkey, cranberry sauce, and caramelized onion.

Add another slice of bread dipped in butter, then top with cheese (lightly heated in a skillet), sprinkle with oregano, and add more lettuce, tomato, turkey, cranberry sauce, roasted red pepper, and a fried egg (sprinkle with pepper).

Top with the last slice of bread and grill the sandwich for 2 to 3 minutes until golden. Serve immediately.
