For the day after Christmas, I took a short trip with my friends. We had lunch at a local trattoria that served us this pasta dish, which I recreated in my own way.

In a nonstick skillet, sauté the onion, chopped into small pieces. Add the white wine and let it evaporate.

Add the ground veal, salt, and pepper. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.

Add the cooked ham, cut into small pieces.

Next, add the tomato purée and parsley. Stir everything together and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes.

Add the heavy cream and the drained mushrooms. Let cook for 5 minutes to blend the flavors, then turn off the heat.

Cook and drain the pasta. Return it to the pot and gradually add the sauce, mixing as you go.
