Stuffed Bell Peppers 🫑

Ingredients

6 people
  1. Ground meat, beef and Italian sausage
  2. Olive oil
  3. 1small can mushrooms, diced
  4. 1 halflarge onion, diced
  5. 4garlic cloves, minced
  6. 3Bay leaves,
  7. Italian Seasoning
  8. Jerk seasoning (for a little heat)
  9. 2 jarsmarinara sauce
  10. 1 splashRed wine
  11. Worcestshire, a few drops
  12. Garlic salt
  13. Black pepper
  14. 1 Tblspesto
  15. Parmesan cheese, sprinkle kind
  16. Finely shredded mozzarella or Italian blend cheese
  17. Pinchwhite sugar
  18. 6bell peppers, your choice of color
  19. White rice

Cooking Instructions

    Ground the meat with the onions and garlic in a pan with olive oil

    Drain most of the grease but leave some for flavor

  3. 3

    Meat back in the pot then add marinara, bay leaves, garlic salt and black pepper, jerk and Italian seasoning, mushrooms stir to combine let it come to a simmer for 10 minutes

    Then add sugar, pesto, worcestshire and wine then let simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionally

    Make the rice and prepare the peppers

  6. 6

    Boil a pot of water, add salt and blanch the bells for 3 minutes and drain

  7. 7

    When meat sauce and rice is done add your own ratio mixed together and add a little parmesan to it and stir

  8. 8

    Get oven ready at 350 degrees F and grease a baking dish, add cut peppers and fill with meat/rice mixture

  9. 9

    Bake uncovered for 25 minutes then add shredded cheese on top and bake until melted about 5 minutes 😋
