Ingredients

40 minutes
Serves 5 servings
  1. 12 ozground veal (about 350 grams)
  2. 1small onion
  3. 3 1/2 tablespoonswhite wine (about 50 ml)
  4. 5 1/3 ozsliced cooked ham (about 150 grams)
  5. 1 1/4 cupstomato purée (about 300 grams)
  6. 3/4 cupheavy cream (about 200 ml)
  7. 7 ozcanned or jarred sliced mushrooms, drained (about 200 grams; or use another type)
  8. Salt and pepper, to taste
  9. Chopped parsley, to taste

    In a nonstick skillet, sauté the onion, chopped into small pieces. Add the white wine and let it evaporate.

    Add the ground veal, salt, and pepper. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.

    Add the cooked ham, cut into small pieces.

    Next, add the tomato purée and parsley. Stir everything together and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes.

    Add the heavy cream and the drained mushrooms. Let cook for 5 minutes to blend the flavors, then turn off the heat.

    Cook and drain the pasta. Return it to the pot and gradually add the sauce, mixing as you go.
