Take fish pieces wash and smear with turmeric powder and salt and set aside for 5 mins

In a pan heat mustard oil and add the fish pieces to fry.

Add cauliflower florets and cubed potatoes separately and fry. Set aside

Add bay leaf, nigella seeds, stir for 1 second. Add sliced onions and fry until softened. Add the paste of green chillies-chopped onions and fry until mixed well.

Make a paste in a bowl of ginger paste-turmeric powder -red chilli powder adding little water and add to the pan. Add tomato purée and stir until rawness leaves

Add little water and cook for 2-3 mins.

Add 2 cups hot water and add the fried fish pieces, fried potatoes, cauliflower florets. Stir and add salt. Cover to cook. Check and if water is needed then add or else garnish with chopped coriander leaves and set aside

Serve with steamed rice and enjoy a main course meal
