My Family's Pork and Garlic Shoot Stir-Fry

When I ate this dish for the first time, they used beef. I prefer pork, so I rearranged it.

You can substitute king oyster mushroom with maitake mushrooms. It's also delicious to add doubanjiang to make the dish spicy. I used yamabushitake (Lion's Mane Mushrooms) in the picture. I only had those mushrooms. Use any pork parts to your liking. For 2 servings. Recipe by Ilove

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 80 gramsPork belly, offcuts, etc
  2. 100 gramsGarlic shoots
  3. 1 largeKing oyster mushroom (or your favourite mushrooms)
  4. 1 tbsp★Oyster sauce
  5. 1 tbsp★Soy sauce
  6. 2 tbsp★Sake or shaoxing wine
  7. 1 tsp★Sugar
  8. 1appropriate quantity to thicken Katakuriko slurry

Steps

  1. 1

    Chop all the ingredients into bite-sized pieces. Mix all ★ seasonings.

  2. 2

    Heat oil (sesame oil if available) in a frying pan, and stir-fry the pork. When the colour of the pork starts to change, add garlic shoots and king oyster mushrooms, then continue stir-frying.

  3. 3

    When they start to cook through, add the ★ seasonings. Bring to a boil, and pour in the dissolved katakuriko. Mix well so that the sauce is evenly absorbed, then it's done.
