Steps
- 1
Heat a pan. Add water along with Jaggery and ghee. Allow it cook on a low heat. Roast the puffed rice for about 2-3 minutes so that they are crisp.
- 2
Meanwhile heat a teaspoon of ghee in a pan. Add jaggery along with some water and allow it to melt. As soon as it starts bubbling and becomes frothy, keep stirring. Do it on a low heat only. Do not increase the flame.
- 3
Drop a small amount of the syrup in a bowl of water and check if it's done. It should form into a ball easily and should even snap. That's the right time to add the puffed rice.
- 4
Add the puffed rice along with the cardamom powder and mix vigorously until everything gets incorporated well. Take this mix out onto a greased plate. While it's still warm, shape into laddoos of your desirable size.
- 5
That's it. Store them in airtight containers and relish upto a week or two. Enjoy!
