For Candlemas, I want to share my mom and grandma's tamale recipe. I hope you enjoy it!
Cooking Instructions

Cook the chiles, then blend them and add to the previously cooked pork.

Soften the lard, then add the masa, baking powder, and salt to taste. Knead with the pork broth until the dough is spreadable.

Spread the soaked and cleaned corn husks with the masa and fill with the chile mixture.
- 4
Fold the husks and steam for 2 hours.
