In a saucepan, add the chopped onion, sliced carrot, two garlic cloves cut in half and crushed, and the chicken broth.

Once it starts to boil, cover and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.

Add the noodles, cover, and cook on low heat for another 10 to 15 minutes.

Serve topped with a chopped hard-boiled egg.
