This chaat is made from desi pulses, so this chaat can also be called a high protein dish. Vegetables of choice can be used along with boiled gram to make this chaat.

Desi chana should be washed with water, soaked in hot water for 5 to 6 hours and steamed in a cooker with 6 whistles.

Take drained chickpeas in a bowl and add chopped onions and chopped tomatoes to it.

Add boiled chopped potatoes, chopped green chillies and chopped cucumber.

Now add all the spices and salt according to taste.

Add mustard oil and lemon juice.

Add chopped green coriander and mix everything properly.

So our crispy chana chaat will be ready to serve.
