HOW TO MAKE KANTUN RIDI (SESAME SEED CANDY)

Pour the ridi into a bowl and add water to it. Wash it thoroughly, and ensure that you remove the bad ridi.

Drain the water completely and spread it on a flat surface, such as a tray, to dry.

Put the frying pan over medium heat and allow it to get hot.

Now pour all of the ridi into the frying pan and stir continuously for 10 minutes.

Begin to pour the ridi into the frying pan gradually and stir as you do so. It will begin to stick to the dissolved sugar. Do so until all the ridi is exhausted.

Remove the frying pan from the heat and set it aside. Now get the foil paper, spread it on a flat surface, and rub vegetable oil on it before pouring the fried ridi (sesame seed).

Use another foil paper to cover the fried ridi and use the rolling stick to roll over the ridi until it becomes flat and thick as desired.

Now uncover the fried ridi and use a knife to cut it into your desired shape.
