An Easy Tomato Dish Multi-National Salad

An izakaya (Japanese gastropub) I used to go to used to serve a salad with the same combination of ingredients. They no longer exist...but I made my own version using flavors that I think taste best.
It uses Japanese (nori and ponzu), Italian (cheese and tomato) and..Korean? Chinese? (sesame oil) ingredients, so I'm calling it multinational.

If you have some time, chill in the refrigerator after adding the sugar. Then, add the sesame oil and ponzu sauce in that order then put it back in the refrigerator to let the flavors meld together. Top it with cheese just before serving.
You can use Korean nori or regular nori seaweed, whatever you like! For 2 servings. Recipe by masakoh mama
