Marinate : in a small bowl 🥣, add salt 🧂, 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chillies powder 🌶️, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp coriander cumin powder and lemon juice 🍋 mix well, spread the masala on all sides of fish pieces 🐠, marinate for 30-35 mins, keep aside.

Heat oil and shallow frying the fish pieces 🐠, till golden in colour, keep aside, in remaining oil, add ghee, let it melt, add mustard seeds, when start to crackle, add fenugreek seeds saute for 1/2 min, add asafetida saute for a sec and add finely chopped ginger cook for 1 min.

Add finely chopped onions 🧅 cook till golden, add ginger garlic paste 🧄, green chillies paste and mix well, cook for 1 min, add finely chopped tomatoes 🍅, salt 🧂 and cook till oil comes out from the sides, add kashmiri red chillies powder 🌶️, coriander cumin powder, black pepper powder, fish masala powder and mix well, add cumin seeds.

Add plain yogurt and mix well,cook for 3 mins and add hot water 💦, let it boil for 5-6 mins, finally add fried fish pieces 🐠, cook for another 4 mins and serve hot with naan, plain 🍚 rice, bread slices 🍞 and Enjoy 🌺🍁

Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves, finely chopped green chillies.
