Ingredients

20 minutes
4 servings
  • 3/4 cupsoya granules
  • 2and 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 Tbspsugar
  • 1 Tspcorn starch in 1 Tbsp water
  • 2 dropsgreen cardamom flavour
  • 1/2 Tspsaffron dissolved in milk
  • Chopped almonds, pista, pumpkin seeds to garnish

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Soak soya granules in hot water for 5 minutes.

    Drain and wash in running water 2-3 times. Heat milk in a wider pan and stir continuously.

    Add soya granules, cornflour water mixture and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring continuously till the kheer thickens.

    Add cardamom liquid and saffron and milk mixture. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

    Allow to cool and refrigerate for an hour. Garnish with chopped dry fruits and pumpkin seeds before serving. This recipe tastes delicious like ice cream.
