Apple Custard Pudding

This Pudding it's similar to a bread and butter pudding but uses apple instead of bread. You could substitute any form fruit . . . pears, cherries, plums etc. It is delicious with cream or ice cream! The recipe could be doubled for a family!

This Pudding it's similar to a bread and butter pudding but uses apple instead of bread. You could substitute any form fruit . . . pears, cherries, plums etc. It is delicious with cream or ice cream! The recipe could be doubled for a family!
Steps

Peel, core and slice the apple (or other fruit of choice)

Layer the apple slices or fruit in the bottom of a 20cm dish.

Sprinkle over half of the raisins/Sultanas.
- 4
In a bowl break the eggs, add the sugar and vanilla and whisk until thoroughly combined.

Next add the Yoghurt and beat that until completely incorporated.

Sprinkle over the rest of the raisins/Sultanas and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Bake in a preheated oven 170C/340F for 30 minutes or until set
- 8
Enjoy! This is delicious hot or cold!
