Ingredients

  1. 250 grambhindi
  2. 1/2 cupcurd
  3. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  4. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  5. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  6. 1 tspcoriander powder
  7. 1/2 tspkasoori methi
  8. 1/2 tspfennel seeds
  9. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  10. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  11. 3 tbspoil
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 2 pinchesasafoetida
  14. 1/2 tspginger paste
  15. 3slits of green chilli
  16. 1finely chopped tomatoes
  17. leavesSome coriander

Steps

  1. 1

    Take bhindi and wash it.now cut ends of all bhindi,now cut from mid like the following image.

    Now take a mixing bowl,add in curd, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin powder, and kasuri methi. Now add fennel powder and mix everything well.

    Now place a pan on gas and add 2 tbsp oil and heat well.then add Bhindi fry well for 4 minutes on medium to high flame.

    After some time add a little salt and mix well.after 4 minutes transfer the bhindi into plate.

    Now add 1 tbsp oil into the pan heat well.now add cumin seeds, asafoetida,green chilli and roast well.

  6. 6

    Now add ginger paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and mix well.now turn into flame add 4 tbsp water and mix well.

    After the masala is released the oil adds chopped tomatoes and salt mix well. After tomatoes turn the mussy turn off the flame and let it cool.add the curd into the masala mixture.mix well.cook it on medium flame with close lid until the mixture releases the oil.

    Then add fried bhindi and mix everything well.now add garam masala and water as required and mix well.now add chopped coriander mix well and close the lid and cook for 2 minutes.

    Now turn off the flame and your masala bhindi is ready to serve.
