Persian spiced salmon

I was out of sumac and thyme so I substituted with lemon zest and oregano. You can even grill the salmon instead of cooking in the air fryer. Cut the salmon into cubes and skewer them for juicy kabobs. Just combine the marinade ingredients in a bowl and throw in the salmon fillets or cubes and mix to coat. You can grill it, air fry it, pan cook or even bake. Whatever works best for you.

Steps

In a bowl combine olive oil, cumin powder, salt, chilli powder, garlic powder, oregano, lemon zest.

Slice the salmon into desired size and add to the bowl and mix to coat with the marinade. Rest 5 minutes

Set air fryer temperature to 200C and place the salmon in the basket. Fry for 10 minutes.

Remove and rest 5 minutes.
Serve.
