Steps

Soak all the grains overnight.

Next day,add in oats and boil till tender.

Chop the 3 onions and tomatoes.

Slice the other onion.

Heat 1 cup oil in a pan.

Add in chopped onions and fry till light golden.

Add in chicken and ginger garlic and bhoono well.

Add in yoghurt and tomatoes and cook on low flame till chicken is tender.

Take the chicken out and leave it to cool.

Shred the chicken.

Put the chicken back to the pan along with all the spices except chaat masala and bhoono well.

Add the chicken to the grain mixture and mix well.

Fry the sliced onion in the remaining oil till light golden.

Pour this on the haleem.

Just before serving,add in coriander,chillies,lemon and chaat masala and serve straight away.
