Cabbages are in plenty during this season and making cabbage fritters is one way of enjoying cabbage. This recipe is wholesome and quite low in carbs and very yummy.

Cabbages are in plenty during this season and making cabbage fritters is one way of enjoying cabbage. This recipe is wholesome and quite low in carbs and very yummy.

Boil about 750mls of water and put into a sufuria with the cabbage. Let it boil for around 5 minutes. Take off from heat and drain using a colander, squeezing out excess water.

Add a little oil into a pan and sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.

Place the drained cabbage into a bowl, add 3 eggs, the onion and garlic mixture, flour and all the seasonings and mix well into a thick batter.

Heat up another pan and put some oil. Scoop spoonfuls of the batter into the pan and let them cook over medium heat until they are well browned and cooked on both sides. Repeat the process until all the batter is finished.

Serve warm and enjoy.
