Grape mojito mocktail

During the summers, there’s nothing like having a sparkling and refreshing chilled drink to quench your thirst and beat the heat. Therefore, I always like making different sorts of cold beverages.
And so, today I got green grapes at a discounted price and decided to make grape mojito. A refreshing twist on a traditional Mojito. This Grape Mojito Mocktail is bursting with green grape sweetness. The perfect refreshing addition to your brunch menu.
This is a sparkling, fresh summer drink that has loads of refreshing mint, lemon, and ice cubes along with the goodness and taste of grapes and carbonated water or soda.
I simply blended the grapes, strained and added the lemon juice and spices and then topped with soda. And of course, used the base syrup mentioned below.
The trick to making the best Mojito is in the mixology. You don’t want to over muddle your mint leaves otherwise they may become bitter. I did not muddle. Just added the mint leaves to the pitcher and mixed.
Alternately, you can make a simple syrup and infuse it with mint leaves. Remove the mint leaves after 15 minutes and stir in the lemon juice. Cool completely and store in sterilized bottles in the fridge. To use, simply add this base syrup in individual glasses or pitcher and assemble mojito cocktail or mocktail.
What I absolutely love about this recipe is that it needs just a few, easily available ingredients. Also, you can make it in huge batches and store it in fridge and serve over the course of 1-2 days.
