  1. 15fresh chili peppers
  2. 10dried chili peppers
  3. 2 headsgarlic
  4. 2 gramsThai basil leaves (about 1/4 cup, loosely packed)
  5. 10long beans (about 1 cup, sliced)
  6. 2.2 lbsground pork (1 kilogram)
  7. 1.1 lbspork meatballs (1/2 kilogram), sliced
  8. 2 tablespoonsvegetable oil (30 ml)
  9. 3 tablespoonsoyster sauce (45 ml)
  10. 2 tablespoonssugar (25 grams)
  11. 1 tablespoonfish sauce (15 ml)
  12. 3 tablespoonswater (45 ml)
  13. 2 tablespoonsdark soy sauce (30 ml)
  14. 1 tablespoonlight soy sauce (15 ml)
  15. 1 tablespoonMSG (optional)
  16. 1/2 tablespoonRosDee seasoning powder (or 1 1/2 teaspoons chicken bouillon powder)

Cooking Instructions

    Pound the chili peppers and garlic together in a mortar and pestle until finely crushed. Pick the basil leaves and slice the long beans.

    Slice the pork meatballs and prepare the ground pork.

    Add the ground pork to a pan and stir-fry until cooked through and dry.

    Once the pork is dry, push it to the side of the pan to make space for the oil. Add the vegetable oil to the empty space.

    Add the pounded chili and garlic to the oil and stir-fry until fragrant, then mix together with the pork.

    Once combined, add the sliced pork meatballs and stir to mix well.

    After mixing, add the sliced long beans and season with the sauces and seasonings.
