Ingredients

  • 1 bagfrozen french fries
  • 1 bagfrozen corn
  • 8 oz.Cotija or other crumbly cheese
  • 1/3 cupmayonnaise
  • 1/3 cupMexican crema or sour cream
  • 1 tspgarlic powder
  • 2 tspchili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped cilantro and fresh lime juice, optional

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook french fries according to package instructions.

  2. 2

    Meanwhile, combine corn, mayo, sour cream or crema, garlic powder, chili powder, and salt in a large saucepan and cook over medium-low heat until heated through. Do not boil.

  3. 3

    Pour sauce mixture over french fries and top with crumbled cheese. Garnish with cilantro and fresh lime juice if desired.
