Ingredients

1 bowlsweet potato (cleaned, boiled, grated)
2chopped spring onions
2chopping green chillies
1 inchgrated ginger
1tb. sp chopped coriander
1/2t.sp chat masala
1/2t.sp dried mango powder
1/2t.sp red chilli powder
1/2t.sp coriander powder
1/2t.sp garam masala
Salt to taste
1/2t.sp cumin seeds
1 tbsp oil
11 piecesprocessed cheese -- for filling
Thin corn flour slurry for dipping
Breadcrumbs mixed with chilli flakes for coating

Steps

Wash & boil sweet potato for 1 whistle in pressure cooker. Peel, cool & grate them.

Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds & saute till they splutter. Add spring onions, ginger & green chillies. Saute till aroma comes.

Add grated sweet potatoes & all the dry spices. Add salt & coriander. Mix well. Switch off the gas. Cool the mixture.

Divide the mixture into equal size balls. Take 1 ball in hand, make it flat, like a disc. Put 1 piece of cheese in the centre & close the ball & shape into flat patties. Make all the patties the same way.

Dip the patties in corn flour slurry, & roll them in bread crumbs. Shallow fry them on slow flame till golden. Serve with tomato ketchup. Cut 1 patty & you will see melted cheese inside. Our Super Food, Sweet Potato gooey patties are ready to be devoured by one & all. Enjoy......

NB : you can use 1/2 & 1/2 also ie boiled sweet potatoes & boiled potatoes.
