In a bowl, beat eggs and oil for 5 minutes with an electric beater.

Add sugar and beat well

Add lemon juice and beat it.

In a bowl, add all purpose flour, salt and baking powder, mix it, sift it.

Add dry ingredients including lemon zest gradually in the batter and beat it.

Take a desired shape pan. Grease it with oil on all the sides. Place the baking paper. Put the mixture in the mould. (Don't over fill it, only 3/4th of the pan is supposed to be filled)

Tap the pan against the counter to avoid any air bubbles trapped in.

Pre-heat a pot on stove on medium flame for 15 minutes. Place a stand in it.

Place the pan on the stand close the lid.

Let it cook on medium high flame for 5 minutes.

Then reduce the flame to medium low for 40 to 45 minutes.

Insert a toothpick in center, it should come out clean.

Remove the cake from pot, place it on a wire rack to cool down for 10 minutes. Remove cake from pan and let it cool completely.

LEMON GLAZE:

In a bowl add powder sugar, lemon zest.
Gradually add lemon juice and stir well.
Add little water and mix it well until you get thick consistency. - 16
Drizzle prepared lemon glaze on the top of cake, letting it drip down the sides.
Garnish it with lemon slices and serve.
