I love the texture of agar. Since it's suitable for bento, I use agar almost everyday.

Depending on the brand, agar should be boiled, so be sure to read the instructions.

  1. 500 mlMilk
  2. 10 gramsAgar
  3. 30 gramsSugar
  4. 2 tbspCondensed milk

Steps

    Mix the agar and sugar well. If you skip this step, the agar will not dissolve.

    Combine Step 1 with the milk and condensed milk in a pot and lightly bring to a boil.

    Strain with a fine mesh strainer and pour into a bowl. It will set at 140F/60C.
