Soya chunks, potato biryani

Take a cup of soya chunks,put into hot water,soak for five minutes, drain the water completely,then clean with normal water, squeeze the water completely.

Boil one big potato, peel out the skin,cut like medium size cubes.

Wash and soak the rice for twenty minutes,add little salt and two teaspoon of oil,cook the rice three fourth, after that drain the water completely. Spread the rice,sprinkle some oil mix well slowly. So that rice grains will be separated.

Cut the onion, tomato, green chillies length wise, chop nicely coriander leaves and mint leaves. keep ready.

In wide bowl add curd,red chilli powder, Coriander powder, turmeric powder, biryani masala,salt mix well.

Add soya chunks and potatoes in the curd masala bowl, mix well, marinate for fifteen minutes.

Keep a nonstick pan let it heat,add ghee and whole masala, cashew nuts, ginger garlic paste, coriander leaves,mint leaves,onions saute till golden colour.

Then add tomatoes saute for five minutes till raw smell goes.

Now add the marinated soya chunks and potato cubes,mix well, add one cup water and required amount of salt let it cook for some time.

Add cooked rice,spread evenly, sprinkle coriander and mint leaves.

Mix well,add lemon juice mix, close with lid, cook very low flame for ten minutes.

Take out from stove, add one spoon ghee,mix slowly and then transfer to a serving bowl.

Superb,tasty soya chunks,potato biryani is ready to taste.Serve with boondi raita onion raita.
