PEACH 🍑 SAUCE

I ♥️ LOVE PEACHES 🍑 What better way to make summer last a little longer. This is just a basic sauce feel free to add what you want! You can store the sauce in airtight containers in the freezer for 3 months! Gonna do the mangoes next! 😋

I ♥️ LOVE PEACHES 🍑 What better way to make summer last a little longer. This is just a basic sauce feel free to add what you want! You can store the sauce in airtight containers in the freezer for 3 months! Gonna do the mangoes next! 😋
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash your peaches, then score and peel the skin off by dipping them in boiled water
- 2
Using a good paring knife, get all the fruit off then quarter them into a big pot. Discarding pits
- 3
Pour lemon juice over and give them a toss. Next, pour sugar all over top of peaches and let them macerate for about 10 minutes
- 4
Turn heat on medium low just to melt the sugar, you don't want to boil them about 10 minutes. Take off the heat and give them a stir and you could add vanilla or cinnamon at this point if you want
- 5
Allow to cool, then place in blender or processor and blend until smooth!
- 6
So I started with 44 peaches and used 22 for each batch for a total of 2 batches! Here is what 22 peaches gave me. This is two half gallon mason jars and a tall glass full
- 7
Place what you want in the fridge (good for about 3-4 days) and the rest in the freezer in airtight containers!!
ENJOY 😋

I like making & trying different BBQ sauces that aren't tomato based. This one is mildly spicy, but you can easily adjust to your preference by adding more or less jalapeño. Use as you would any BBQ sauce. Was delicious on our grilled pork tenderloin medallions! I'm looking forward to trying it as a dipping sauce for egg rolls and pork wontons! Pineapple Orange Cranberry Sauce Pineapple Orange Cranberry Sauce
Fresh cranberry sauce is one of those things that's so quick, easy and inexpensive to make, and well ahead of time, that probably the only reason to use canned is that you have some sentimental attachment to it.Or you like the rings. :PAnd it's so super adaptable to your palate and preferences.Just a touch of cinnamon (about 1/4 teaspoon) and cardamom (5 seeds) for a mild holiday spice note were my additions this year, but nutmeg, clove and ginger would also work beautifully.Goes great with with roast turkey, chicken, duck and pork. Leftovers are delicious with a cheese platter or in baked brie. x
