Ingredients

1-2 servings
  1. 1/2 cuproasted thin semolina/ sooji
  2. 1boiled potato sliced
  3. 1carrot chopped
  4. 1tomato chopped
  5. 2green chilli broken
  6. 2spring curry leaves
  7. 1 Tbspvegetable oil
  8. 1/2 Tspponch phutan
  9. PinchAsafoetida/ hing
  10. 1 Tspsplit urad dal
  11. 1 Tsproasted chana dal
  12. Salt as required
  13. 1 Tsplemon juice
  14. 1.5 cupwater

    Arrange and assemble the ingredients. Heat oil and splutter ponch phutan. Add carrot 🥕 and cut chilli. Saute for a while.

    Then add chana dal and urad dal, curry leaves as well. Saute on medium heat till aromatic.

    Add chopped tomatoes, salt and ginger powder. Mix well and cook till tomatoes are softened.

    Nex mix sliced boiled potato 🥔, mix and saute all ingredients well. Now add a 1.5 cup water and allow to boil. Add roasted semolina gradually and stirring continuously to avoid lump free Sooji upma. Add lemon juice and garnish with pomegranate arila and apple.
