This is our special recipe made on holidays. Very easy and tasty. Can store for 2 days while travelling.

The rice I have used is home grown and unpolished. Soak it for 15 to 20 minutes. Drain it and keep aside.

Heat desi ghee in deep pan. Once hot add soaked rice. Roast it for 7 to 8 minutes on medium heat.

Now add cinnamon powder, dry ginger powder, black pepper powder. Mix well

Now add salt.again roast it for 5 minutes on low flame. Now add water as required. Mix well and cook for 10 minutes.

Now add lemon juice and cook for 5 minutes more. Add chopped coriander leaves.

If you like at this stage you can add a dollop of amul butter. Serve hot with dal or any gravy. I have served with moong dal and palak raita. Enjoy.
