No Pre-Seasoning! Super Fast Ginger Pork with Veggies

This is the ginger pork I make at home, based on a meal I had at a restaurant!

I used really thinly sliced pork this time so it would cook right away, but you can use any cut that goes well with ginger.
The key to this is the katakuriko! For 1-2 servings. Recipe by Hanano arashi

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 7strips Pork (I used thin-sliced pork loin)
  2. 1Sake
  3. 1Katakuriko
  4. 1for frying Oil
  5. 3 tbsp(A) Soy sauce
  6. 1/4 tsp(A) Sugar
  7. 4 tbsp(A) Water
  8. 2 tsp(A) Grated ginger juice
  9. 3 tbsp(A) Mirin
  10. 1side dish - (as needed) Lettuce
  11. 1side dish - (as needed) Shiso leaves
  12. 1garnish - (as needed) Ginger (julienned)

Cooking Instructions

    Sprinkle sake on the pork, then coat both sides with katakuriko.

    Combine the (A) ingredients. Chop the vegetables. Thinly slice the lettuce and shred the shiso.

    Heat oil in a pan and arrange the pork strips evenly in the pan.

    Once the pork is browned on one side, flip over. Sprinkle both sides with pepper.

    Once the second side is browned, pour in the (A) ingredients. Heat the (A) sauce, seasoning the pork.

    Once the sauce has come to a simmer, it's done. Remove excess water from the chopped vegetables, plate with the sautéed pork, cover in sauce, and enjoy.
