Caramelized Apple and Pear Tart with Honey
I stumbled upon this recipe and made a few tweaks 😋
My family devoured it, so it was a big hit ☺️
Steps

Peel and core the apples and pears, then cut them into quarters.
Slice them thinly.

Roll out the pie crust in a tart pan, prick the bottom with a fork, then arrange the fruit slices on top in a circular pattern. (I alternated the apple and pear slices 😋).

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
Add 2 tablespoons of honey and stir until you get a honey caramel.
Add 2 tablespoons of sour cream or crème fraîche, remove from heat, and mix well.

Pour the caramel cream over the fruit.
Sprinkle with vanilla sugar (about 1 tablespoon).

Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown.

Let cool slightly before serving, or chill in the fridge after it has cooled to help it set better 😉
