Melt butter in a microwave. In a bowl, combine melted butter, sugar and egg.

Add the mashed bananas to the bowl from Step 1 and using a whisk, and combine well.

Add pancake mix, milk and maple syrup to Step 2 and combine.

Pour in the batter into muffin cups and garnish with the sliced bananas. Bake in a 340F/170C oven for about 30 minutes.
